Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click "Add to Cart" for any items that you wish to buy to put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit / debit card payments (Visa / Mastercard / Maesto / JCB) and PayPal. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We run live stock monitoring so any item you purchase should be in stock. We do not use Backordering, if an item is out of stock you can not add it to your cart.

We no longer accept cheques by post or card details over the telephone but we can send out "Pay by Link" e-mails for special orders or where there has been an issue with making a payment via the shop.
Postage and Packing Our postage charges are calculated to cover the cost of postage plus the cost of the packing material.
You will be advised of the total cost before entering your payment details.

Our postage charges are based on current Royal Mail postal rates and our aim is to charge the cost to us plus 50p to £1.00p per order (not per item) for the all board envelope or box and other packing cost. The Royal Mail uses PiP so our postage is based on both the size and the weight of the package.

The latest Price Guide from Royal Mail comes in to force on Monday 25 March 2024, so the new rates apply to all orders placed after the post on Friday 22 March 2024.

For UK deliveries you can choose either Royal Mail First Class or Royal Mail Second Class.

International orders over 1.25Kg will be sent Tracked, under this weight the purchaser can choose Standard or Tracked.
Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 2 business days . International orders are generally received in under 14 days.

If we are exhibiting and selling music at an event away from our base in Cardiff it is possible that we might sell out of an item and not be able to update the "on line" stock before an online order is placed for the same item. If this does happen and we are unable to complete the order we will contact you with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait until the item is back in stock.
Tax Charges At present we are not required to be registered for VAT so no VAT is charged on goods purchased from this site.

In the UK and one or two EU countries Sheet Music is Zero Rated for VAT but in other EU countries VAT is payable at various levels.

Prior to 1st July 2021, in the EU, no import VAT had to be paid for commercial goods of a value up to EUR 22 but on 1st July 2021 the EU is changing its VAT rules so that from 1 July 2021, all commercial goods imported into the EU from a third country or third territory will be subject to VAT irrespective of their value.
Credit Card Security If paying online by credit card you will be directed to WorldPay (UK) Ltd's secure servers to enter your credit card details, we do not receive your credit card details at any point in the process.

Your product must be complete, unused and in 'as new' condition (e.g., if you have opened the packing to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way). It should be returned with the original packing. Pre-recorded CDs must be returned sealed.

You can return the product to us in person. If you choose another method of return, such as posting an item back to us, you must bear the costs. We will refund the purchase cost of the product(s) returned but can't refund our original delivery charge.

If you have purchased more than one product but only want to return part of the order that is fine, we will refund the purchase cost of the items returned.

RETURN OF FAULTY GOODS WITHIN 28 DAYS

The following are guidelines. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances.

If there is a fault with your product within 12 months of delivery (or other defect with your order), we will normally offer a prompt exchange or refund. We will always offer you the choice of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 28 days of delivery.

To qualify for a refund or exchange the product should be in otherwise in 'as-new' condition.
This guarantee does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.
If a pre-recorded album is faulty under guarantee we will happily exchange it for the same title or refund your money.
We will refund delivery charges you have incurred in returning the item(s) to us.

THIS RETURNS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

Creighton's Collection is open and operating as normal with orders posted on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Orders arriving before 2.00pm on a post day can normally be sent the same day. Deliveries to EU Countries may be liable for Import VAT - see the note on our home page. There will be no post on Monday 27 May as the Post Office will be shut due to the Spring Bank Holiday.
