		Hommage Hommage à Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche Version for Quartet Clarinet / Viola / Double Bass / Harp As far as I remember, I first met Miss Fontan at the age of 5 at the CNR of Nice. I was searching for the instrument I wanted to practice... Obviously, I couldn't resist trying this wonderful instrument. I first started with a beautiful glissando while I heard as a little girl: “You've got harpist's hands, I will teach you.” I have now been playing the harp for 26 years and more recently writing for the harp, so it was natural for me to pay a tribute to Elisabeth Fontan-Binoche, a great lady of harp who has educated so many harpists and knows how to communicate her love for music. This piece is made of 3 themes (on the names and Christian name of Fontan-Binoche Elisabeth) based on the french system (from A to G then I...) mixed with the German system (H=B flat) the notes's encoding by means of the alphabet's letters.
