Les Saisons de la Harpe
Les Saisons de la Harpe  Ref: Alaw019
This collection of four short pieces represents the changing colours of the seasons:

Winter is sad, sombre and wistful, with a ray of sunshine in the middle section, ending with an optimistic yearning for spring.

Spring is about new life, abounding with birds hopping, little plants emerging and all the animals springing out from their winter hibernation.

Summer is here with its warm rays of sunshine, glorious blossoming countryside, luscious colours and gentle breezes.

Autumn is ushered in and the leaves turn to gold and nights draw in. Spring and summer become distant memories and the seasons draw to a close.

"Les Saisons" can be played as a collection or as individual pieces, especially suitable for encores. They are deliberately tuneful, light and expressive and I hope you will enjoy them.....
